Feeling the blues
Martin Luther came to mind today--see pic and quote to the right, clicking on it to enlarge. As I was visiting one of our members in a senior rehabilitation center, we serendipitously came upon a blues band in concert. The onlookers came alive as the music began, clapping and tapping to the beat, eyes alight and bodies swaying. One woman danced with and around her cane. A man even got up out of his wheelchair and boogied! I was glad for the repose in the midst of an otherwise chock-full day. Per Lee Ann Womack's song, "I hope you dance" every now and again, even if only watching others revel in God's great gift of music.
