Ginger snaps!

It's a good snapping, mind you. My new sister in the faith, Ginger, passed on another book--see picture to the right--predicting that it would "make [me] laugh and cry out loud." And so much more! "Religion is for those trying to stay out of hell," contends the author. "Spirituality is for those who have been there." Lamott doesn't always sound or look so spiritual, but ultimately she sweeps you away, and into, a beyond-skin-deep spirituality. For example: "Courage is fear that has said its prayers." Thankfully she has published several other books. Can't wait to gobble them up!
